Jay Shah has officially begun his tenure as the International Cricket Council (ICC) Chair as of December 1, 2024. He aims to focus on leveraging cricket's inclusion in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics and advancing women's cricket globally. Shah, who previously served as the youngest Honorary Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and President of the Asian Cricket Council, succeeds Greg Barclay in the role. Shah expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and plans to expand cricket’s global reach.
